PACIFIC COAST BIKE TOUR
2011 – September – October
2,000 miles by bicycle starting in Vancouver, BC, then heading north along the Sunshine Coast.
Down the east side of Vancouver Island, through the San Juan Islands, down Puget Sound, then
down the Pacific Coast back to my home in Santa Cruz, CA.

Like an animal crazed by starvation, there are times we ravage enormous portions of food no
normal human being should eat. This is a tribute to lumberjack breakfasts, half pound burgers
topped with pulled pork and coleslaw, giant milkshakes, and delicious coffees on cold days.
